Introducing: The National Brain Plan and Prof. Dr. Nina Barišić, MD
Prof. Dr. Nina Barišić, MD, our distinguished subspecialist in pediatric neurology is a member of the Committee of National Advisers (CNA) of the European Pediatric Neurology Society (EPNS) and the Croatian representative in the EPNS campaign (https://www.epns.info/intersectoral-global-action-plan-on-epilepsy-and-other-neurological-disorders-igap ) on behalf of the Croatian Society of Child Neurology (HDDN), the Croatian Medical Association, and in cooperation with the Croatian Brain Council. Prof. Barišić, President of the HDDN, prepared the IGAP and Brain Plan proposal on behalf of the HDDN. In the meantime, with the support of the Croatian Brain Council, activities have been initiated towards the Ministry of Health with the aim of cooperating in the implementation of the proposed IGAP and the National Brain Plan. Since Croatia has committed to implementing the aforementioned action plan and developing a National Brain Plan, the Croatian Brain Council thanks Prof. Barišić for her active work for the benefit of patients and the entire society!
